Vegetable cookies?

If you have a picky eater (ehm, toddler) in your life, chances are he or she may go through phases of not wanting to eat vegetables.  They mostly will be open to eating cookies, so as a creative mom I put together a "paleo" real food version of a cookie with some veggies snuck in there.  These are great as a breakfast too, based with almond meal they are full of protein and good fats and have just a little bit of REAL maple syrup to add some sweetness.  We don't eat a lot of sweet in our … [Read more...]

What kind of container is that?!

So I'm one of the fringe crazies that is trying to get rid of plastic in my life. As a mom of a toddler that's pretty hard to do. I've started with food and drink vessels - we use the Kiki Pura cups and glass or regular plates and bowls at home. But when packing for school that is a different animal...since they won't accept glass I had to branch out and try some other things. Thrive Market – A Fantastic Resource

Homemade Paleo Chocolate

I'm doing the Relentless Transformation 5.0 with Roger Dickerman of Relentless Fitness and about 50 others and am using it to clean up some things that have sneaked into my diet. That aren't terrible but aren't really great either (hey, I'm human!). I've got a few post planned in draft status but am still trying to figure out life and schedule now that I'm back at work.
