Healthy Toxin Free (Clean) Laundry

Part of my clean living adventure has included cleaning up my cleaning supplies and laundry detergent.

I listened to this awesome podcast that told the story of Molly Suds.  It’s a pretty sad story, but created a really awesome product. I love their tagline, “the wise choice for people against toxins.” I chose the laundry powder because it’s more economical, and I picked the one that has the peppermint scent with peppermint essential oils. I currently use Dr. Bronner’s peppermint soap as my body wash in the shower, so I really enjoy the light pepperminty smell and was excited to have it on my clothes too.

You can check out the episode that I listen to here, and check out the other podcasts on the Run this World with Nicole DeBoom. It is an awesome podcast.

What I also love about the Molly’s Suds brand is that they have a regular laundry detergent, a powder or liquid, and a sport version. As a family of athletes we often have some very smelly and dirty workout clothes, and we often launder them separately with special sport detergent. Now we have a safe version that I can feel good about too.

Cleaning up your cleaning supplies is a simple step, the next time you run out of laundry detergent make a cognizant effort to choose safer.

You can do the same thing with all of your personal care products too, rather than being overwhelmed by overhauling all of your shampoo face wash and make up, just start to replace things with safer choices.

If you’re looking for clean, safe, and high-performing products I think that Beautycounter provides the best options on the market. Let me know if I can help you switch to safer, they are direct sales model is designed to allow you to try before you buy. Message me and we can have a conversation about your needs and I can get you some products to try.
