Don’t stink, check out these natural deodorant options that actually work.

This article has been floating around my Facebook feed for sometime, and I was reluctant to open it – mostly because it has a picture of Old Spice deodorant on the front and I knew that I wasn’t going to agree with the recommendations inside the article.  In my quest to convert to healthier, safer products finding a deodorant with acceptable ingredients was easier than I thought….it’s finding one that actually works that is the hard part!

Based on the article above, I am going to give the Native brand a try, seems to have great reviews and great ingredients – nothing on the Beautycounter Never List!

Those of you that know me, know that I’m an active person – when I was wearing my Fitbit it wasn’t uncommon to hit 18 – 20,000 steps a day.  I’m a runner and a CrossFitter, oh yeah and do some swim, bike, run (Tri) too!  So I need a deodorant that actually works – I’ve tried quite a few of them, expensive and in-expensive, and to date my favorite has been PiperWai (with the secret ingredient of charcoal – another safe and natural beauty secret I’m loving!).  They recently released a stick version, I have the one in a jar, it’s a little clumpy, but once it’s on it works great for daily wear or a sweaty (now non-smelly) workout.

Anyone have the PiperWai stick yet?  I’m curious if its less crumbly, well I guess it would have to be!  Any other great brands out there to share?
