Help! Where do I find healthy food?

One question I get frequently is what to eat to be healthy (duh) and then its usually followed with where do you find that?  Honestly I love going to grocery stores and visit a few of them regularly.  Trader Joes, Wegmans, and Whole Foods are my favorites, and I do go to the regular grocery store occasionally too.  In the summer I supply most of my veggies via my CSA box (this year from Lancaster Farm Fresh), my small garden, extra from my mom’s garden, and from local farmers markets – I usually go to the Upper Merion Farmer’s market if I’m home on a Saturday, its open from 9am to 1pm.

My garden, containing tomato plans, herbs, and lettuce about 6ft x 8ft

There are quite a few staples that I actually buy online, through Amazon.com.  I know it feels weird to order groceries online, but hey it’s easy and saves time and money.  How many of you say you’re short on time and don’t want to spend your whole paycheck on food?  So what do I order from Amazon???  Check out my Amazon store for ideas on food and groceries, books, and other gift ideas too.  Right now I have on regular delivery coconut water and I just received  another shipment of coconut milk (the Natural Value brand has nothing added, not even guar gum).  I’m always adding new things that I find to the store as I find them, so check back regularly to see what’s new.

Laura Pappas Health Amazon Store

Full disclosure, when you order through my Amazon store, Amazon kicks back a few cents (literally its a minuscule small percentage of the order total) to me.  So if you’re ordering anyway, order through the store, and I get a cent or two :)

Where do you find your healthy foods, how do you plan to make sure you have plenty of healthy ingredients on hand so that you can make eating healthy a snap?
